Analog ARP Odyssey MkII Big Sound

I just had my ARP Odyssey completely refurbished, its like new and I am very happy to have it working properly in the studio. I bought this one in the 1980's using it when I was gigging. Korg is making a copy of the ARP Odyssey and I think Behringer has their version of the Odyssey. They dont come close to the orginal! Check us out: Binary Recording Studio

Recording Vocals

In vocal recording I think the most important part aside from the mic's, pre's, outboard/plugin's you use, is the relationship and communication you have with the artist. In recording vocals I am a enginner and a producer that helps them get the best they can do with understanding what does it take to get the best vocal track. Drum Set Recording

Over time I have recorded hundreds of drum sets always working to get a great sound. When you have different drum sets, players and style of music being flexible in your setup will give you the best outcome. I now start out with the less amount of mic's on the drums and then add if needed. Too many mics, phasing issues. The best sound I have ever got was 4 mics on the set on a rock music album. Ai in the creative arts

Ai is now being offered in all aspects of life, even the creative arts. Adobe software photoshop is on board. This picture is a example of asking it to put a singer in the control room. Demo your songs

I have bands demo their songs before they come in to record. This gives me a change to listen to what they plan on doing and talk to them about the arrangment etc.... It make a big difference when they come in to record. Binary Recording Studio

Hard drive for your session?

I often get reqest for recording sessions files from years ago from bands ( like from the 1990's) We have now asked bands to bring a hard drive to their session so we can give them all the files as another backup of their project. We have been recording bands and projects for over 30 years so it is recommended to make sure you have those files. We keep files for years but hard to for decades due to storage advancements.
